Q | What questions should we ask a transport company before booking them for our wedding? |
A | Euryd Jones says: Firstly, ask to see the cars; that way, you will be able to see for yourself how the cars are cared for and prepared. You will be able to sit in them and ask all the questions you need to know to see if the supplier suits your requirements. You need to know if there are any time or mileage limits imposed. Many wedding car hire companies have a three-four-hour time limit, and some will apply a mileage charge beyond a certain limit. A company that has a selection of cars to offer is ideal, as some brides prefer a modern car over a vintage vehicle or anything in between. When you have chosen the car, you can ask what is included in the hire. The most popular question is, obviously, is champagne provided? Are the cars fully ribboned? And do they allow you to play your favourite music playlist on your journey? Lastly, you should be satisfied that the company has full wedding cover insurance in place, just in case something goes amiss. Most importantly, relax and enjoy the first of many car journeys you will experience on your marital journey |
