David's Bridal, the global bridal and occasionwear specialist, recently announced the expansion of its alterations services to include non-David's Bridal merchandise. The new Alterations for All idea is available across its four UK stores in London, Watford, Birmingham and Glasgow. The popular bridal retailer will make its alterations specialists available as a trusted resource to perform alterations for those in need of expert services, at a competitive price, in an expedited timeframe.
With costs rising globally and consumers becoming more conscious of their environmental footprint, the ability to bring life to new or old garments forms a key part of David's Bridal's wider sustainability strategy.
"We proudly launched our 'All in One Place Alterations' service in the United States last year, in response to daily requests in-store from customers in need of alterations advice or assistance on non-David's merchandise", said Rosa-Lan Jarman, vice president of alterations at David's Bridal.
"Smaller boutiques and ecommerce companies typically don't offer alterations services, so a customer is left with limited options. True to our ethos, David's Bridal wants to be there for everyone in need of alterations, so they can have the attire of their dreams regardless of style preference, shape, size, or budget. Therefore, we knew it was time to continue this programme across the pond!"
