Nestled in the heart of the Gavi Hills, this beautiful and elegant 12-room mansion is surrounded by vineyards, pastures and woods and embraces an eco-system created by the biodynamic farm on-site. The building and grounds were refurbished recently by architects Demicisarchitetti, who restored the original arched and vaulted ceilings and added large windows which overlook the vines of the estate.

The restaurant at Locanda La Raia is centred around Gavi cuisine with influences from Liguria and Piedmont. Season menus feature produce from the biodynamic farm, such as grains, fruit and vegetables from the garden and eggs and meat from the free-range Fassona cows.

There is a treatment room situated among the vineyards with a heated indoor and outdoor swimming pool that can be used all year round, a fully-equipped gym with a view of the garden and a fitness trail at the foot of the hills.
