Tall John’s House is a 16th century Welsh Manor House set in its own beautiful grounds with views to the Black Mountains. This unique and exclusive venue features a wonderful stone barn, full of original features, with a covered courtyard. This provides the perfect wedding venue for up to 160 guests with lavatories and catering area. The nearby Granary has been lovingly restored for Intimate Weddings for up to 30 guests or makes a fabulous alternative civil ceremony venue or extra reception space. Civil or humanist ceremonies can also take place in the grounds and the barn itself. The Tall John’s House team make every effort to be as flexible as possible to fit in with your dreams for your big day. This is a blank canvas venue. It is yours to style as you wish, to create an event that is individual to you. We provide a list of recommended suppliers to help you, but the ultimate choice is yours. You are welcome to bring your own drinks and we don’t charge corkage and we also offer Tall John’s Bar who are as flexible in their services as the rest of the venue.

The Manor House with its Stables & Saddlers in the grounds provide accommodation for up to 27 guests, either with exclusive use to include our reception rooms, Jockey Bar and Games Room with billiard table, or on a B&B basis.
