Built more than 800 years ago, Fonmon Castle is an impressive wedding venue situated in two acres of beautiful countryside. The property is one of South Wales’ most historic venues and has a stunning Georgian interior throughout, with a dramatic double-height hall and parquet flooring. The castle walls are six feet thick in places and feature a striking creeper that blazes a gorgeous red in the autumn, creating the perfect backdrop for photographs.

Ceremonies are held in the light-filled Library, which boasts a Rococo-style ceiling, gilded mirrors, original books that date back to the 16th-century and space for 110 loved ones.

Alternatively, the Scented Garden can be used for smaller services. This al fresco setting can hold up to 50 nearest and dearest for the vows.

Drinks receptions take place in the Hall, Drawing Room, Bar and South Facing Lawn.

The new Orchard Tipi is used for wedding breakfasts. Located within the Wedding Village and accessed through the manicured walled gardens, this space is decked out with lawn games, chill-out areas and breathtaking views. This area is a blank canvas so couples can add personal touches, and dance the night away with 180 friends and family.

The venue offers the bride and her bridesmaids a complimentary continental breakfast on the morning of the wedding and guests will receive preferential rates on future visits.
