Llantilio House is a listed 18th-century farmhouse on a picturesque 300- acre farm in Monmouthshire. The venue has been refurbished in the most sustainable way possible, with ground-source heating throughout and great care taken to use traditional, environmentally friendly materials and wool insulation. Owners Lottie and George were keen to honour the venue’s original features in the redevelopment.
Consisting of a courtyard with two interlinking barns, Llantilio House has a granary, a farmhouse with front and back gardens, an additional courtyard with a heated (natural) pool and two outbuildings. Up to 20 of your nearest and dearest can stay on-site with you for the whole duration of your wedding. There is a large courtyard and grounds overlooking the River Trothy Valley, which is in the process of being restored to a wildflower meadow via a grant from Natural Resources Wales.
The venue has a state-of-the-art natural mineral water pool that is heated all year round and is situated next to a warm sitting room with impressive door arches and Crittall windows, along with a hot tub, a sauna and a plunge pool. Log burners are spread throughout the farmhouse and cottages for those chilly winter nights.
Celebrate in style
Ceremonies can take place anywhere on the premises but are mainly held in the Calfshed, Main Corn Barn, Courtyard, or Calfshed Terrace.
Depending on the weather and time of year, receptions tend to take place around the Courtyard and Calfshed. The Catering Kitchen is connected to the Main Corn Barn.
The wedding venue has capacity for around 120 loved ones for the ceremony and wedding breakfast followed by up to 150 in the evening.
