Two Magpies is a new Cardiff-based celebrant

Two Magpies is a new Cardiff-based celebrant founded by actress Claire Cousin. With more than 30 years of experience in film and TV, Claire has graced our screens in popular TV shows such as Casualty, The Way, Doctors, Emmerdale and Best Interests, where she appeared opposite Michael Sheen. Claire will soon be seen in the feature film Eternal Return with Naomi Scott and Kit Harington.

Claire tells us: “I work as an independent celebrant and my aim is to raise awareness amongst couples that weddings can be held anywhere, and you really can have the ceremony of your dreams. Once you’ve done the legal certificate signing at a registry office, either before or after the day, you can create a bespoke ceremony your way, anywhere. I can help shape the ceremony that puts you both at the centre, as it should be. My joy is meeting my couples, writing their love story, helping with creative ideas and vow writing if they need it, adding in personal touches, and taking out elements that don’t reflect them. It’s a blank page and it is really exciting to hear what they want it to be. It’s so satisfying knowing that my couples are truly reflected, and their unique love story is the focus of the ceremony.”
